Recommended Resources for 11 Plus.

Being ‘good’ at maths and English is all about confidence. I suggest that children become masters at the basics in both subjects rather than try and extend their knowledge by sitting them in front of a workbook for hours. Just 5 minutes a day on the apps below or something similar, will boost their mental speed, quick recall and vocabulary.

VOCABULARY AND SPELLING

Wordle  - I love this game, you can set the levels and watch as children challenge themselves, and you, to become quicker. This is a fantastic way to introduce new words and spellings. A wide range of vocabulary is key for English.
